Photos of the Back Facade of the House
Front Facade | Back of the House | 1st Floor | 2nd Floor | 3rd Floor
| Here we have the back facade of the house which is also the most interesting part of it. Its chaotic architecture creates a beautiful contrast with the quasi perfect symmetry found on the front facade. | |
There are 3 very distinct sections:1. A sort of square tower on the right. 2. The center, basically a huge Art Nouveau verriere (stained and hand painted window) surrounded by white bricks. 3. A left section covered with red bricks with a large curved window. On the 1st floor of the “tower”, we have a home office or library room. Then one bedroom on each floor above. |

| The picture below was taken from another angle and during winter, which allows us to see the gigantic (approx 33 ft high) Art Nouveau verierre (stained / painted glass) in the middle. The left section with red bricks is the kitchen, which, as you can see, also has direct access to the garden. Below the kitchen is the door to the garage, which is capable of holding up to 2 compact cars, or 1 sedan. (Note: There are additional parking spaces outside within the lot, on the alley and around the circle) | |

![]() Guimard’s “Hublotiere |
| The resemblance with “La Hublotiere”, a famous Art Nouveau House built and designed by the most famous French Art Nouveau architect and designer Hector Guimard in 1897, is striking and deserves further investigation. | |
